Talon is one of the most eccentric figures within Variant Labs. He presents himself with undefeatable calmness, and a mode of perception that can make him seem almost placed there by someone higher up in Zion's authority. His skills are unusually to the point, but most within the lab see him as a valuable ally to Adrian and the work around him.
He first appeared during the laboratory’s early transition from Variation Tech into Variant Labs, arriving with a very extensive and attractive résumé that seemed to span research, behavioral sciences, therapy, logistics, and consulting in places outside of Zion, such as Tundra & Dakota, opposite to each other in various biomes.
On paper, Talon looked overqualified in nearly every direction, and yet somehow impossible to pin down. Adrian brought hiM on as the company was rebuilding, quickly recognizing his intelligence and rare ability to adapt to almost any problem placed in front of him. Since then, Talon has become one of the lab’s most trusted internal figures, helping support both operations and staff wellness while maintaining a steady influence in practically every workplace.
Within Variant Labs, Talon serves as an essential force behind the scenes. His work often overlaps with emotional support, and helping staff navigate the psychological strain that comes with working in such an unusual institution. Understanding and very insightful, Talon has a way of understanding people without seeming to ask much from them, which has made him especially valuable in the laboratory’s more sensitive internal spaces.
He is stylish, soft-spoken, and distinct in a way that sets him apart from the harsher personalities around him, but that difference has only made him more memorable.
For many at Variant Labs, Talon has become almost every scientists favorite, even Ms. Ironwood's, who seemingly hates everyone, and especially Adrian. Talon has left his mark on even the crudest cogs that are barely mentioned in morning meets.
He in truth, is the one person holding everyone's emotions together, and making sure every single person in any stressful situation whether corporate or personal are being taken care of.
