Theo is probably the only person within Variant Labs that doesn’t have a problem with anyone, relying on only two factors to differ if she likes you or not, A. If you’re mean, B. If you don’t like her. Theo is constantly balancing the institution’s heavier atmosphere with curiosity and a perspective that brings your guard down whenever you're around her. She is without a doubt, one of the friendliest and most light hearted employees that you'll DEFINITELY bump into.

 

She first arrived alongside her uncle, Nikolai, when he was brought on to lead botanical work within the Verdant Isolation Chamber. While Nikolai's expertise made him the obvious hire on paper, Theo quickly made her own impression on the people around her. What could have been a simple case of a relative tagging along became something much more thoughtful, as her excitable behavior and easy ability to connect with others made her stand out almost immediately. Inside a workplace of security & secrecy, Theo skipped and hopped with a delightful energy that made everyone feel a little less drained. Talon even agreed, that having Theo around made scientists feel young again.

 

Though she was not brought in under the same formal expectations as the senior scientists, Theo steadily became a real part of the Variant Labs environment. Her fun presence around the facility made her a welcomed figure, especially to those who found themselves drawn to her genuine fascination with the work happening around her. 

 

Theo is also the laboratory's main artistic director, spending a majority of her free time drawing scientists, objects, alArms, or public figures as horrendous or colorful beings. As Nikolai once said, the way she draws you, is how she perceives you. 

 

Talon Vox in particular took a strong liking to her, recognizing something special in the way she moved through the lab. Over time, Theo became more than just someone connected to Nikolai, she became part of the culture of Variant Labs itself, a reminder that not everyone who shapes a place does so through hard work, but more so with who you are as a person, and how you can treat others overall.
