LT. TRINITY REMINGTON
RESEARCH DIRECTOR
Trinity Remington, 34, is one of Variant Labs’ most dependable Resarch figures. Her discipline came from years of hard training, long before she ever stepped into the desert. Before joining Variant Labs, Trinity built her reputation through the Zion Armada’s onboarding program, starting in boot camp at a fairly young age before earning a site offer. She began in ammunition loading and quickly proved she could handle as much pressure as they threw at her. Working near higher-ranking officials gave her a close look at demanding environments and helped mold the blunt professionalism she carried into the rest of her career.
Trinity did well in those circles, but she eventually learned that her real strength was not just physically. She was better at keeping powerful operations steady behind the scenes, especially when everyone else was close to letting them fall apart.
That eventually led her to Variation Tech, where she was brought in as both a hired gun and Patrick Addams’s trusted assistant. Trinity became a force to be reckoned with, especially because she never stayed quiet about the misogyny around her. She challenged anyone who tried to judge her authority by her appearance or the way she chose to dress. She did not shrink herself to make others comfortable, that refusal earned her the respect that Adrian would later admire.
When leadership changed hands and Adrian James Carter II took control of the company, Trinity was one of the few who remained, carrying her experience into the next era as the company transformed into Variant Labs.
Since then, she has become one of Adrian’s most trusted allies, helping shape the laboratory through its most uncertain transitions. Outside of her work, Trinity is held together by a loving family and a strong sense of self that keeps her balanced living in central Zion, While she holds no affection for Zion as a system, she has never let that stop her from loving the color green, a small but personal reminder that symbols and meaning do not always have to belong to the same thing.
